Limited-edition bag collection to raise awareness and funds for victims of violence and help feed kids in need around the world

In recognition of International Women’s Day (March 8), FEED and Monica Singh, a survivor of violence and founder of the Mahendra Singh Foundation (MSF), came together to release the FEED x Monica Singh Collection.

This International Women’s Day, FEED and Monica Singh, a survivor of violence and founder of the Mahendra Singh Foundation, are coming together to raise awareness of gendered violence and empower survivors, with the FEED x Monica Singh Collection.

Featuring two limited-edition styles, this special bag collection raises awareness of gendered violence and empowers survivors, with funds going to MSF to help support scholarship programs for victims of violence. The collection is available now on

“I designed these bags with my whole heart, knowing that each sold will directly impact girls and women who are survivors and need our support to thrive,” said Monica Singh. “I am thrilled to partner with FEED and reveal the collection on International Women’s Day because it is a pivotal moment as a collective society to come together and celebrate women, gender equality and work to prevent further violence.”

True to FEED’s model, the collection will also fight childhood hunger, by helping to provide school meals to kids in need around the world. Building upon the collection’s impact, both bags are entirely handmade and hand-beaded by a female artisan collective in India called Projecthrive, providing livelihoods, training and fair wages for at-risk women in New Delhi.

“FEED is honoured to partner with Monica Singh, a courageous survivor and vivacious fashion designer,” said Lauren Bush, Founder & CEO of FEED. “By purchasing one of these bags, customers will be joining the movement toward gender equality, raising awareness of gendered violence, and ultimately advocating for a safer world for women, on International Women’s Day 2020 and beyond.”

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not a country, group or organization specific.

The FEED x Monica Singh Tote will provide 50 school meals, as well as donate funds to MSF. The FEED x Monica Singh Pouch will provide 25 school meals and donate funds to MSF. To purchase a bag or donate,
