Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Pritika Swarup is one of the fashion industry’s brightest rising stars. Her motto is through dedication, commitment, and a strong work ethic anything is possible. Pritika’s accomplishments are easy to proof of her drive and dedication, having appeared in campaigns for H&M, MAC Cosmetics, Abercrombie & Fitch, Fenty Beauty, and Clinique, as well as in Allure, CosmopolitanandLovemagazines.The list continues with international editions of Vogue, Elle, L’Officieland Harper’s Bazaar. Just when you thought managing a successful modelling career would be enough, Pritika never settles for what is routine.

As committed as Pritika is to her career in the fashion industry, she is equally passionate about her education and involvement in humanitarian causes. In addition to her modelling career, Pritika is currently focused on completing her studies in financial economics and psychology at Columbia University. She is the founder and president of Praetorian Management LLC, a secondary market investment fund run by Columbia University students, which has become the largest fund in the history of the university. The role model has been recognized for her passion towards philanthropy, as she is an ambassador for Operation Smile, and supports safe practices and diversity within the fashion industry. Pritika believes in devoting herself to supporting causes that are close to her heart and uses all resources possible when aligning herself with a cause. Her humanitarian efforts have taken her all around the world from India to South Africa, and Mozambique. Pritika balances her pursuits in academia, business management, philanthropy, entrepreneurial endeavours, and fashion, and she does it flawlessly.

Pritika has recently been appointed Goodwill Ambassador of the Mahendra Singh Foundation and plans to have an all-encompassing approach to support MSF in their mission. Her priority is to spread overall awareness about the increasingly prominent issue of violence against women and introduce their programs to people on all platforms.

Pritika said “I believe in the Mahendra Singh Foundation, and in their mission to provide women, who have been through violent situations, complete support through education, medical assistance and counselling. It’s imperative to take care of young women and provide the necessary tools for them to thrive in their own lives.”
